Julie Neill Custom and Made to Order Lighting Sales Terms & Conditions

CUSTOMIZATIONS
Please contact us with your custom requests, and we can discuss options, provide quotes and estimate lead times. 

LEAD TIME
A simple customization lead time for something like a change to the OAH on fixtures that this customization is offered is typically 3-4 weeks from the product’s in-stock status, while more involved customization and made to order items can have a lead time of 14-30 weeks from your order date. Your order date is the date that we receive your payment. All quoted lead times and ship dates are estimates only and are subject to change. Please contact us with your custom request, and we can provide a quote and estimated lead time. Lead times do not include closures for holidays.

ORDER CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS
All custom orders are final sale and ineligible for return. We do not accept order changes or cancellations once an order is placed for custom and made to order items. Please check the details of your order carefully before submitting payment.

RETURNS
We do not accept returns for these items.

POST-DELIVERY INSTRUCTIONS
The recipient must open and inspect the contents of all boxes immediately upon arrival. Should you find any issues upon delivery, please contact us at 504-899-4201 for assistance. Any claims for damages must be reported within 5 business days to qualify for credits or adjustments. For the proper handling of any issues that may arise, please keep all boxes and packing materials until the product is confirmed to be in good working order.

For orders delivered by a freight carrier, items must be inspected on site and any defects must be noted on the bill of lading when signing off on delivery.

Once an order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled, rerouted, or redirected. Please do not refuse the delivery of any non-damaged shipment as this may result in additional restocking fees, return shipping fees and may void the eligibility of a refund.

AVAILABILITY

In-stock items are expected to ship within approximately 7 business days; however, shipping and delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Please refer to the tracking information provided with your order for the most up-to-date shipment status and delivery details.

The estimated lead time for backordered items will be noted on your order confirmation. We recommend checking stock online or with a customer service representative prior to placing your order.

Please note that lead times are estimates and subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances including but not limited to supply chain issues, manufacturing schedule changes, shipping delays and other logistical considerations beyond our immediate control. We will keep you informed of any significant updates as soon as we are aware of them. 

CANCELLATIONS
If you need to cancel all or part of your order, please contact us as soon as possible. Cancellations are not guaranteed until you receive an email confirming cancellation. Once an order has begun processing to ship, it may not be cancelled. If the order cannot be cancelled, please refer to our return policy.

SHIPPING
We are proud to offer free standard ground shipping on all orders shipped within the contiguous United States! Items shipped via standard ground typically arrive within 3-5 business days of the shipment date. For expedited shipping options, please contact us.

RETURNS
All returns must have prior authorization and meet return requirements. Any returns received without an issued return authorization number may be ineligible for refund.

Preference returns will be accepted if they are received within 30 days from the date of delivery as long as the items have not been installed and are packaged in like new condition in their original cartons complete with all parts and packing materials.

Preference returns are assessed a 25% restocking fee. The return shipping cost is the responsibility of the customer and shipping must be arranged by the customer. You will receive an email confirming the amount of your refund once the merchandise has safely reached the Visual Comfort warehouse.

RETURN REQUIREMENTS
The following items are ineligible for return: installed or modified, customized or made to order, shades, bulbs or accessories purchased individually, final sale, last call, open box, and not in original package including outside box and all packing material.

RESTOCKING FEE
All returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee and return shipping. You will receive an email confirming the amount of your refund once the merchandise has safely reached our warehouse.

DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE
If you encounter a defect or damage in your product, please reach out to us to request a replacement or return. Items arrived with shipping damage or lost in transit must be reported within 5 business days to qualify for credits or adjustments. Do not remove from original delivery address.

USER SUBMISSIONS


We love seeing all of the beautiful photos that you share! We invite you to post, share and tag your content with the hashtags #julieneilldesigns and #visualcomfort along with our handle @julieneilldesigns on Instagram, Pinterest and beyond. We also welcome you to submit your photos through julieneill.com for a chance to be featured on our channels.

By uploading, submitting, sending or tagging your content on social media or through email, you give us permission to reproduce and use your content as follows:

You grant Julie Neill Designs permission to use, store, reproduce, modify, publicly display and distribute your content. Your content may be used for marketing purposes, including but not limited to email campaigns, blog posts, social media posts, store materials and other customer communications.

Our license to your content is non-exclusive and royalty free.

You represent and warrant that you own all rights to your content and that the distribution of your content will not violate the intellectual property rights, privacy rights or legal rights of any third party.

Julie Neill Designs does not claim ownership of user-generated content or endorse any opinions expressed in the materials submitted by any other users. Julie Neill Designs has the right to remove user content at any time, for any reason and without notice.

What methods of payment do you accept?

Payment by credit card is required for all online orders. We accept all major credit cards. Payment by check or wire transfer will be accepted for orders placed with our customer service representatives. 

Please note: orders paid by check or wire transfer will not be processed until the funds are received. 

Do you price match?

We are committed to offering you our best price 365 days a year. Should you find an identical in stock product that is offered for a lower price by another authorized dealer, simply send us a copy of your quote or link to the website for review and we’ll match it!

PRICING DISCLAIMER:

Due to omissions and errors, prices are subject to change without notice. Published prices do not include any freight costs unless specified in writing by Julie Neill Designs. Formal written quotes are honored for 60 days. Quotes from a prior calendar year are not honored unless there is written approval before the end of the calendar year in which the quote was written.

FORCE MAJEURE

All quoted completion and delivery dates are estimates only and are subject to change by JND upon notice to You. JND shall not be liable for delays in completion or shipment or default in delivery for any reason of force majeure or for any cause beyond JND’s reasonable control including, but not limited to, (a) government action, war, terrorism, riots, civil commotion, embargoes or martial laws, (b) JND's inability to obtain necessary materials from its usual sources of supply, (c) shortage of labor, raw material, production or transportation facilities or other delays in transit, (d) labor difficulty involving employees of JND or others, (e) fire, earthquake, storm, flood or other casualty or act of God, or (f) other contingencies of manufacture or shipment. In the event of any delay in JND’s performance due in whole or in part to any cause beyond JND’s reasonable control, JND shall have such additional time for performance as may be reasonably necessary under the circumstances. Acceptance by Buyer of any goods shall constitute a waiver by Buyer of any claim for damages on account of any delay in delivery of such goods.
