When Jessica Ranjbari decided to retire from being a labor and delivery nurse in 2018, she thought she'd found a new hobby helping her friends design spaces in their homes. In Tallahassee, word of mouth is everything, and talk of her talent spread quickly. She was soon starting to take on full scale design projects specializing in new construction with a comprehensive full-service plan.
Jessica's goal is always to make her client’s home reflect their personality and interests and bring to life the ideas they have in a way they never imagined. In her designs, she loves to mix old and new, adding in layers with fun textiles and different textures, and thoughtfully infusing color and pattern throughout. Her firm's projects are not just about making a home beautiful, but about building a relationship where their clients will trust them to create a space they feel good in, allowing them to focus on making memories with the ones they love.
The name Mossy Co. has a story: "Here in the south, it's not uncommon to see southern live oak trees with Spanish moss decorating their branches. Much like the Spanish moss adds to the beauty of the live oak, Mossy Co. wants to add to the beauty of your home. That beauty can come in many different forms: functional and organized spaces, new and one-of-a-kind artwork, or simple repurposing of existing furniture into a fresh design. We seek to place little pieces of beauty in everyday life." - Jessica
